In SL I have made quite a few friends, but recently I met someone who has become more than a friend. Eli first communicated with me here on the blog, she commented one of my posts. Over time we started to talk and I found a connection with her. We started to hang out together in SL and chat some outside it. I was invited to join her SL family. The more time I spent with her the stronger the connection became. Finally on Nov 17 I asked her to be my Lady, after she got her breath back, she said yes.

Yes I am still alive folks, just been a bit busy..I will catch you all up in a couple posts to come.

I am now one of the djs for SL’s best radio station C.O.F.E Radio!
I am on air Tuesdays & Thursday nights 10pm-midnight SLT.
You can listen in on SL by setting your land media to http://diamond.slserver.com:8096, and if you are out in the real world, just go to the website and choose your media player to pick up the stream.

I am also still djing at alt7 and am there.

Well it is the weekend and time for me to get the weekend rockin. This Friday I am going to feature a band I found, Dardanelles, and play a bunch of tracks from their new release, along with my usual mix of alternative & hard rock. Saturday I am going to set aside about an hour and a half for music from Delerium, Kosheen, Enigma, and a couple of others.

ok, so it is almost the weekend, it is Friday ..

Anyway tonight at I will be at alt7 playing my mix of alternative & hard rock from 8:30pm to 11:30pm SLT. I am putting together an A-Z set, artist/group names starting with A and going to Z..

Tomorrow I will be there from 9:00pm to midnight SLT.

Some thing new for you all is al7 has a website up with dj info and a section that shows you which dj is playing, what they are playing, and even lets ya grab a stream from the club. You can also submit song requests that will go to the dj in SL. so check it out..

Well this week will mark a major change in my schedule. This Wednesday at -=Clockwork=- will be my last set there for a while, RL responsibilities need me to cut my time in SL during the weeknights. I will still be on, but most of the time not till late, and not for long. I will still have my Friday & Saturday nights at alt7.

So for this week:

Wednesday Final -=Clockwork=- set 8pm-10pm SLT

Friday alt7 8:30pm – 11:30pm SLT

Saturday alt7 9:00pm – midnight SLT

Yesterday was my first Rez Day, hard to believe I have been in Second Life a year.

In RL I tend to use birthdays to look back at the year, and think about the future. There has been a lot of changes in my SL in the past year, I have started blogging, been to 2 Dr Dobbs summits, bought some land and set up a house and started to DJ again. There was also some thing that was not so good, I ended my first real SL relationship.

Relationships are hard in RL, and even harder in SL, everything is intensified, magnified and accelerated. There comes a time in every relationship, that you have to look at it and decide whether it is time to go to the next level or if it has gone as far as it is going to. Unfortunately both people may not feel the same about that, that is where I was at… I did not want to keep her hanging on to the hope that things may go farther. So I broke off the relationship. I tried to stay friends, but that in the end does not seem to have possible. For this I am sorry, but do not regret my decision, I had to do what I felt was right.

I had wanted to spend some time with two people who are special to me, but things did not work out the way I had hoped, and the rest of the evening pretty much went down the tubes. Well if nothing else it is one Rez Day I will not forget for a while.

Hopefully I have learned somethings over the past year, and will be able to apply them to the future that is yet to come.

One thing I want to do is to thank all of the people I have met in the past year, for being part of my experience in SL, and I look forward to meeting many new people and making new friends.
