Well last night was my debut as a SL DJ, and I did it at the new club, Clockwork (SLurl) in Topgol. Even though the only publicity last night had was a post on my blog yesterday, there was a better turn out than I expected, we had about 15 people through out the night.

I managed to find a “Clockwork Orange Wolf” t shirt in some freebies I had, so I had appropriate club wear for the gig…

I played a mix of current and older Alternative & Hard Rock, and threw in an interesting song or two. I got quite a few complements, and even was asked about DJ’ing an alternative night at a new club that a friend of dinee ’s is putting together.

For those of you who haven’t been to Clockwork, it is a great place. There is no Slingo, Tringo, or any of the other xxxxgo’s, no camping chairs, or dance pads, hell there isn’t even ’sploder. It is a place for music, dancing, and having a good time with your friends and other customers. If your into music, it is a place to check out, not just because I DJ there either, you have (n)eXt w/ DJ keTchUp every Monday night at 7pm SLT, for the freshest in new music, me on Wendsdays with Alternative and Hard rock from 8-10 pm SLT. DJ keTchUp is working on filling out more nights, so check in and see what is going on.

As for my DJ handle, have had a few suggestions so far…

• Wolfman Jack….think this one has been used, and might get me into legal trouble
• DJ Desert
• DJ DW
• and the straight forward one DJ DesertWolf

So I am still taking suggestions, and will reveal my choice next Wednesday night….
