Well Sunday was Fathers Day, and after spending time with RL Family logged in to SL for the evening. Started off by going to a class…yea I know hepp of a was to spend Fathers Day, but as some of the SL Bloggers are looking to get some land this class sounded like a good one to take. It was at NCI and was Advanced Land Management. I told dinee and Tiana about it and they said they wanted to go, so we made plans to attend. Well 7pm..came around an I Tp to the site..only to find myself under the floor of the classroom. Tiana is already there and offers me a TP, I rez in and there she is and she had brought Wrath along. dinee soon joins us and we sit down and wait for the teacher to show up. While we were waiting another friend of mine IM’s me, Alida Tomsen was there for the class too. Alida is one of the leaders of Kadarin Hall, where they have a beautiful relaxation garden, and a meeting hall where they have discussions, as a matter of fact they are having one today on “Is the Internet a Force for Democracy” unfortunalely it is at 3pm SLT, so I will not be able to make it, but will be looking forward to attending the next one

Anyway was good to see her and chat a bit, and had time to, because the instructor was a no show.. luckily Carl Metropolitan & Najmah Handayani jumped in and gave the class. I think we all learned something that will help us in out quest for blogpile land.

After that dinee and I had planned to go dancing, and invited Tiana and Wrath to join us, Wrath, being the busy social butterfly he is politely declined, so the three of us went off to Club Savvy. They were having a Fathers Day event, playing music by sexy men. This was the first time I had been to Club Savvy, it is a “Pirates of the Caribbean” themed club, and as they put it..
Club Savvy is an intimate club that offers our crew and patrons a place to meet new people, spend time with close friends and family and forget your worries and troubles for a few hours.
The ladies and I had a good time dancing and chatting, we kept dancing even after the event ended, and finally went back to my place and relaxed in the hot tub and chatted for a while more..
Have to say it was a pretty good Fathers Day in SL.
