Good article. Mitch Wagner stated: “Performance was extraordinarily slow, probably because the test grid was so crowded.” Yes, I found the test grid to be laggy but put it down to the fact that its a test grid and not exactly perfect. I lag on the main grid.. without voice. The incoming of voice to me means more lag. Just what we all need. Places like dance clubs are going to be hell.. music, howling gestures, typing noises and now people trying to talk over other people. I really don’t know if I like the whole idea or not here. It was nice hearing yours and other people’s voices.. makes the whole SL experience just a little more personal feeling. As for voice on the main grid..I think I will have it turned off for the most part… and pray to the lag gods that they be kind to me.
