Wednesday in SL is the day the Lindens do updates, apply patches and restart servers. With this in mind the Dr. Dobb’s crew did not have any discussions or keynotes. They did have a lecture and reception in honor of Jacque Quijote, creator of “Sweet Bye and Bye”, which is an absolutely stunning exhibit in SL. If you have a chance go see it.

The entertainment for the evening was the costumed Rolling Restart Ball. As you can imagine there were some great costumes..

My date, dinee Ghia, and I went as vampires.

As you can see we had a wide assortment of costumes, including a dragon, a couple of ravens, and other interesting things.
So we danced the night away….

And a great time was had by all. John & Rissa have been doing a great job with the after hours entertainment:)
